Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 4:24 PM PDT Friday 14 June 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: B.C. South Peace River Occasionally heavy rain is expected Saturday in the southern BC Peace Region. Threat: Potential rainfall of 20 to 30 mm may cause localized flooding, high streamflows and a risk of debris flows. Remarks: An area of low pressure will develop over northeastern BC producing a narrow band of heavy rain. Showery weather today will change to occasionally heavy rain as the band arrives from the north later tonight or early Saturday morning. Rain will ease by Saturday evening.
