* WHAT. Hot temperatures. Highs Friday 94 to 99, 98 to 107 Saturday through Monday. Overnight lows mainly in the upper 50s and 60s. * WHERE. Highway 20 Wauconda Summit, Colville, Orin-Rice Road, Chewelah, Tiger, Springdale-Hunters Road, Flowery Trail Road, Northport, Wauconda, Boulder Creek Road, Metaline, Kettle Falls, Ione, Metaline Falls, Deer Park, Sherman Pass, Inchelium, Newport, Chesaw Road, Republic, and Fruitland. * WHEN. For the Heat Advisory, until 11 AM PDT Saturday. For the Excessive Heat Warning, from 11 AM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS. Heat will increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, especially those without effective cooling or adequate hydration. |
