* WHAT. Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of central South Carolina, including the following counties, Bamberg and Orangeburg. * WHEN. Until 945 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 839 AM EST, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 6 and 12 inches of rain have fallen. The North Fork of the Edisto has crested, however, water continues to flow south into the South Fork. The water will remain high on the South Fork especially near Branchville. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. mainly rural areas of Northeastern Bamberg and Southwestern Orangeburg Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
