Brief Description Snowfall Warning
Detailed Description Snow accumulation over higher elevations of the Sea-to-Sky Highway. What: Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected. When: This evening through early Saturday afternoon. Where: Snow from Brandywine to Whistler, rain south of Brandywine down to Howe Sound. Additional information: A Pacific weather system approaching the south coast will give snow to higher terrain. With near freezing temperatures in place, snow levels should drop between 400 to 600 metres depending on precipitation intensity. As a result, snowfall accumulation on the Sea-to-Sky highway route from Brandywine up to Whistler is expected. Snow will be heaviest Saturday morning, before transitioning to light showers or wet flurries by Saturday afternoon. ### Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
