| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Snow expected above 6000 feet. Total snow accumulations between 2 to 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE. West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park Counties. * WHEN. From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Snow covered roads, chain controls and travel delays are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact travel Friday evening through Saturday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Heaviest snowfall is expected Friday night through early Saturday morning, gradually diminishing through the afternoon. Scattered snow showers will persist into Saturday night. |
