Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Ogeechee River near Eden. * WHEN. Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, several homes and camps near the river are surrounded by water. Significant flooding will also occur at Steel Bridge boat landing on Highway 119. Water will surround several homes near the boat landing and access to the homes will be limited. The boat landing will also be flooded and likely have limited use. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 900 PM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 14.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 10.9 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
