Brief Description Flood Watch
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. All of east central Florida, including Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Indian River, Saint Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties. * WHEN. Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Total rainfall amounts of 6 to 12 inches are forecast with a swath of 12 to 15 inches possible in the vicinity of the I-4 corridor. Water rescues may be needed in the hardest hit locations. Across the Treasure coast counties and Okeechobee, additional rainfall amounts up to 3 inches are forecast. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
