| Detailed Description | 3:39 PM CDT Tuesday 4 June 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Churchill Rain, at times heavy, is expected with amounts of 50 to 80 mm possible by Friday morning. Heavy rain will begin in Churchill overnight and persist through Wednesday, Wednesday night, and Thursday. The heavy rainfall will taper off through Thursday night. Along with the rain, gusty northeasterly winds with gusts up to 80 km/h are forecast on Wednesday. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Statements 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday 4 June 2024 Fog Advisory in effect for: Churchill Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring. Dense fog continues at Churchill in onshore northeasterly flow. Visibility should improve somewhat Wednesday morning as rain moves into the area. Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
