Brief Description Special Weather Statement
Detailed Description A strong low tracking into the eastern Bering Sea Saturday night will bring north to northwesterly winds gusting as high as 50 mph to the Pribilof Islands. The Islands are forecast to remain near the western edge of precipitation associated with the low and there continues to be significant uncertainty with how far west snow will extend. If snow does reach the Pribilof Islands, snow showers in combination with gusty winds could reduce visibilities to one mile or less at times, with the potential to drop as low as one-half mile. Stay tuned to the forecast and use caution if you plan to travel between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
