| Detailed Description |
FFWFWD The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Eastern Erath County in north central Texas. Hood County in north central Texas. Johnson County in north central Texas. Somervell County in north central Texas. * Until 400 PM CDT. * At 1207 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Mansfield, Burleson, Cleburne, Stephenville, Granbury, Keene, Joshua, Alvarado, Pecan Plantation, Venus, Glen Rose, Grandview, Godley, Cross Timber, Cleburne State Park, Squaw Creek Reservoir, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Lake Pat Cleburne, Oak Trail Shores and Bluff Dale. |
