| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana. East Fork White River. Flatrock River near Columbus. Driftwood River near Edinburgh. .Major flooding will continue on the East Fork White. The crest on the East Fork was near Columbus this morning and should reach Seymour this evening and Rivervale on Tuesday. The Flatrock near Columbus should crest this afternoon, and the Driftwood at Edinburgh should crest tonight. The next chance for more than a tenth of an inch of rain does not return until Wednesday. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Flatrock River near Columbus. * WHEN. Until late Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 16.5 feet, During the January 2005 flood. river level was about 1 foot below the lowest berm along Flatrock Drive in the northeast end of Noblitt Lagoons near the junction of Washington St. and Riverside Dr. A few Noblitt Lagoons residents had wet basements. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Sunday was 16.2 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.3 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
