In Nome, breaking waves will wash up along the beach and cause erosion, and will also impact the Nome-Council Road. Water will back up the Snake and Nome Rivers causing water to go overbank. Water will approach homes in the Belmont Subdivision. Portions of the Nome Port will have water go overbank. In Golovin, the old runway will be inundated, but water will remain below the protection berm. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Water levels peaking Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night.
