Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. A low pressure system moving over the Brooks Range and Eastern North Slope over the weekend will bring heavy snowfall to the area. Snow will gradually increase in coverage through the day on Saturday, eventually peaking in intensity Saturday Night through much of Sunday. The highest snowfall totals are expected to be along the Dalton Highway near and north of Atigun Pass, as well as the coastal area stretching from Deadhorse to Kaktovik.
