| Detailed Description | Winter storm to end the week. What: Snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 centimetres. Visibilities reduced to zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Snow, at times heavy, will continue until Saturday morning. Blowing snow will continue until Saturday evening. Where: The Lower St. Lawrence. Additional information: The combination of fresh snow and strong westerly winds gusting to 70 kilometres per hour will cause blowing snow and snowdrifts on roads. ### Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Road closures are possible. Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
