| Detailed Description | 6:12 PM EDT Tuesday 28 May 2024 Frost Advisory in effect for: Abitibi Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas. Overnight tonight, and overnight Wednesday to Thursday, minimum temperatures will reach the freezing mark in several areas of Northwestern Quebec despite moderate northwesterly winds. Overnight temperatures will remain cool for the rest of the week. Conditions will remain favorable to the development of frost until Friday morning. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees. Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
