Where: Mainly east of Summit Lake along the Alaska Highway. When: Wednesday night to Thursday morning. Remarks: Precipitation associated with a low pressure system is forecast to begin on Wednesday as mixed rain and snow, then change over to snow Wednesday evening. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected, with even higher amounts possible over eastern sections. There are some uncertainties with the snowfall amounts and location of the heaviest snow as the system moves across the region. Snow will taper off Thursday morning as the system departs.
