| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Florida. Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51) affecting Suwannee and Lafayette Counties. Suwannee River near Wilcox (US 19) affecting Levy, Dixie and Gilchrist Counties. Suwannee River near Manatee Springs affecting Levy and Dixie Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida. Suwannee River at Branford (US 27) affecting Suwannee and Lafayette Counties. Suwannee River at Rock Bluff near Bell (CR 340) affecting Lafayette, Dixie and Gilchrist Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51). * WHEN. From late Wednesday night until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 35.0 feet, River begins coming out of channel banks inundating low lying bottomlands. NW Harlie Lynch Road, NW Riverbank Road, and the Blue Springs State Park begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 33.7 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday morning and continue rising to 35.1 feet early Thursday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 33.8 feet on 04/11/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
