Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas. San Bernard River near Boling affecting Brazoria, Wharton and Fort Bend Counties. For the San Bernard River. including Sweeny, East Bernard, Boling. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. San Bernard River near Boling. * WHEN. From this afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 25.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding continues with significant backwater flooding up Peach Creek and minor backwater flooding up West Bernard Creek in Wharton County. Backwater flooding up Snake Creek threatens low lying areas in the Tierra Grande subdivision. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise above flood stage late this afternoon to 25.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall early Thursday morning. It will rise to 23.5 feet Friday evening. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History.
