| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Missouri. Nebraska. Iowa. Missouri River At Rulo affecting Richardson and Holt Counties. Missouri River At Nebraska City affecting Otoe and Fremont Counties. Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha Counties. Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties. Missouri River Near Blair affecting Harrison, Pottawattamie and Washington Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Nebraska. Iowa. Missouri River At Omaha affecting Sarpy, Douglas and Pottawattamie Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Missouri River at Plattsmouth. * WHEN. Until Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 32.0 feet, The water treatment plant for Plattsmouth begins to flood. In addition, River Road begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 31.7 feet. or 5.7 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 31.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. |
