| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties. Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Dakota, Washington and Ramsey Counties. Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Dakota, Pierce and Washington Counties. Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Scott and Le Sueur Counties. South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties. South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. Mississippi River at Red Wing L/D 3 affecting Pierce and Goodhue Counties. Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Brown, Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Dakota, Hennepin, Carver and Scott Counties. Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Carver and Scott Counties. Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties. Crow River at Rockford affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties. Mississippi River at Red Wing affecting Pierce, Goodhue and Pepin Counties. St Croix River at Stillwater affecting Pierce, Washington and St. Croix Counties. Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County. . The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Minnesota. Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County. Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County. .We continue our slow downwards trajectory at most locations, which will end up being delayed with additional rainfall arriving tonight and another round later this week. While right now we are not expecting a return to previous crest heights, the late week system has the best chance of seeing rapid rises in some of the quicker responding basins. Overall, a half inch to one inch is expected through Tuesday, with amounts trending higher for late week. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Minnesota River near Jordan. * WHEN. Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 745 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 31.7 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 745 PM CDT Monday was 32.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall to 25.8 feet Monday, July 08. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 31.7 feet on 03/23/2010. |
