Brief Description Flood Watch
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. The following counties in West Texas, Bailey, Cochran, Hockley, Terry, and Yoakum. * WHEN. From late tonight through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of roadways, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in eastern New Mexico after midnight and move east into the western South Plains through Saturday morning. The potential for storms to move repeatedly over the same areas may result in flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
