8:23 PM MDT Monday 19 August 2024 Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for: Co. of Warner near Milk River and Coutts At 8:23 PM MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. This line of thunderstorms is located just north of Shelby, Montana, and is heading to the northeast at 50 km/h. Wind gusts to 95 km/h have been reported with this thunderstorm. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
