Brief Description Special Weather Statement
Detailed Description At 359 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Torrey Lake to near Red Canyon. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near. Lander, Fort Washakie, Red Canyon, Milford, Diversion Dam Rest Area, and Bull Lake around 405 PM MDT. Ethete around 410 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Hudson, Morton, Pilot Butte Reservoir, Kinnear, Pavillion, Arapahoe, Ocean Lake and southwestern Riverton.
