St Johns River Near Astor affecting Volusia and Lake Counties. .The Saint Johns River will remain nearly steady or slowly fall over the upcoming week. At Astor, the river level will remain above the major flood stage of 4.0 feet. At Deland, the river is forecast to remain steady continuing in major flood with a stage forecast near 5.4 ft. The river at Sanford is forecast to remain steady in moderate flood. The river level at Geneva, is forecast to continue in moderate flood and drop only slightly to 9.7 ft near the end of this week. Although, little rainfall is forecast prolonged flood impacts will continue on the St Johns River from Geneva to Astor. For the St. Johns River at DeLand and at Astor. Major flooding is forecast.
