| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE. Klondike Highway past milepost 8. * WHEN. From 4 AM to 7 PM AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Travel could be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Highest snow totals expected near White Pass. Highest winds will be Tuesday afternoon. Near Skagway, precipitation is expected to start as snow, but will change to a mix or all rain Tuesday afternoon. Snow accumulation near Skagway will be around 1 to 3 inches. |
