2:31 AM MDT Thursday 19 September 2024 Wind Warning in effect for: Resolute Very strong easterly winds that may cause damage are expected starting this evening, with gusts up to 100 km/h. Wind speeds will increase through the day then weaken by Friday afternoon. Reduced visibility in blowing snow is also possible. Between late this evening and early Friday afternoon, total snowfall amounts of 4 to 8 cm is expected, but due to the gusty winds it will be difficult to measure on the ground. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
