| Detailed Description | 4:00 PM PDT Sunday 2 June 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Metro Vancouver - North Shore including West Vancouver and North Vancouver Metro Vancouver - northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge Rain, at times heavy, continues. Where: Metro Vancouver - North Shore, Metro Vancouver - northeast, northern sections of Fraser Valley - west and Howe Sound. When: Tonight and Monday morning. Rainfall amounts: Up to 60 mm. Remarks: A moisture laden Pacific frontal system has reached the South Coast bringing heavy rain to the aforementioned regions. Rain at times heavy will continue tonight then ease to showers early Monday. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
