| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Flooding caused by upstream dam release is occurring. * WHERE. A portion of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Knox and Sevier. * WHEN. Until 800 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1050 AM EDT, an upstream floodgate release is expected to cause flooding in Deerfield Trailer Park near Boyds Creek. Evacuations are ongoing in this area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flooding is occurring along the French Broad. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Sevierville, Kodak, and Kimberlin Heights. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
