Detailed Description
5:01 AM PDT Monday 23 September 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: North Coast - inland including Terrace Rain, at times heavy, is expected. What: Rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm. When: Today. Where: Stewart, Gitwinksihlkw, New Aiyansh, Terrace, portions of Highway 16, Kitimat, Highway 37. Remarks: A strong storm system will continue to give heavy rain to the north coast of British Columbia today. Rainfall amounts will be greater as you head westwards towards the coast. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
