| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kentucky. Kentucky River at High Bridge Lock affecting Mercer, Jessamine and Garrard Counties. .Heavy rain from the past few days has caused the river to rise. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Kentucky River at High Bridge Lock. * WHEN. Until Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 26.0 feet, Dix Drive begins to flood. At 30.0 feet, Large portion of Dix Drive floods. At 36.0 feet, Water enters homes along Dix Drive. At 39.0 feet, Dix Drive floods completely. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 5:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 38.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 38.6 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:15 AM EDT Saturday was 38.2 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 41.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall tomorrow morning. It will rise to 42.5 feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet. - Flood History.
