| Detailed Description | * WHAT. For the Coastal Flood Statement, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE. In Connecticut, Southern Fairfield County. In New York, Southern Westchester County. * WHEN. For the Coastal Flood Statement, from 1 AM EDT Sunday through late tonight. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from noon to 5 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS. Brief minor flooding possible tonight. Minor flooding on Sunday in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Another round of minor flooding will be possible Monday. |
