Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description Heavy rains associated with a slow moving front through the southern panhandle has dropped 2 to 3 inches of rain so far across the area. The front will pass through the Ketchikan by morning. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Ward Lake Recreational Area. * WHEN. Until 1000 AM AKDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 430 AM AKDT, Minor flooding is ongoing, especially near Ward Lake. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - For Lake Connell Dam: At 4:30am the stage was 252.5 feet. Flood Stage is 252.0 feet.
