Brief Description Snowfall Warning
Detailed Description Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 30 cm is expected. Locations: Upper Lake Melville, Rigolet and vicinity, and the Eagle River region west of Crooks Lake. Time span: mainly Saturday through Saturday night. Remarks: The snow will be preceded by a brief period of rain for the Upper Lake Melville area and rain, freezing rain, and ice pellets for the Eagle River region to the west of Crooks Lake. A long duration freezing rain event is expected east of Crooks Lake. Northerly to northwesterly winds will pick up Saturday night causing some blowing snow over exposed areas. ### Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
