Hazards: Total rainfall amounts of 75 to 125 mm with locally higher amounts possible. Timing: Two rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected with the first occurring this morning and the second occurring this afternoon through this evening. Discussion: A warm and moist airmass will bring significant rainfall today. Areas that receive multiple thunderstorms or prolonged rainfall from thunderstorms may have the potential to exceed 125 mm. Hazards: Wind gusts up to 100 km/h. Torrential downpours. Risk of tornado. Nickel to ping pong ball sized hail. Timing: Late this afternoon into this evening. Discussion: A line of thunderstorms is expected to develop late this afternoon or early this evening. The main threats will be strong wind gusts as well as torrential downpours.
