Brief Description	Blowing Snow Advisory
Detailed Description	Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected or occurring. Locations: the western half of the Avalon Peninsula. Total snowfall: 7 to 12 cm. Maximum wind gusts: northerly 70 km/h. Time span: beginning this morning in the south and near noon in the north, ending over all areas by this evening. Remarks: Conditions will deteriorate as strengthening winds combine with accumulating snowfall to produce poor visibility that will persist through the evening rush hour. If you must travel, be prepared for delays and allow extra time to reach your destination. ### Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
