Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Detailed Description At 6:51 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. A severe thunderstorm located 40 km southeast of Maxhamish Lake and 80 km north of Fort Nelson is moving west-northwest at 15 km/h. This severe storm will impact Highway 77 within the next hour. ### Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/.
