Brief Description Rainfall Warning
Detailed Description Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Significant rainfall and rising freezing levels. What: Total rainfall amounts 90 to 130mm. When: Now through Monday. Where: West Vancouver Island - Southern Sections Including Port Renfrew. Remarks: A prolonged period of heavy rain and rising freezing levels will continue. The heaviest rainfall can be expected Sunday and Sunday night but will continue through Monday. The highest rainfall amounts will be near Port Renfrew with totals near 130 mm; rainfall totals for Tofino will be closer to 90 mm. Freezing levels will continue to rise during the day Sunday and remain significantly elevated into next week. ### Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
