Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Flood Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma. Arkansas. Lee Creek near Van Buren affecting Crawford and Sequoyah Counties. . The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in Arkansas. Mulberry River near Mulberry affecting Crawford and Franklin Counties. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Mulberry River near Mulberry. * WHEN. Until Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, no flooding occurs but the river is swift and dangerous. Backwater from the Arkansas River may affect low lying areas near the first few miles of the Mulberry River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:30 PM CST Monday the stage was 8.4 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.4 feet tomorrow morning. - Action stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
