| Detailed Description | 10:17 PM ADT Monday 8 July 2024 Heat Warning in effect for: Norman Bay to Lodge Bay A period of very warm weather will continue. Time span: continuing through Tuesday. Minimum temperature tonight: 18 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperatures Tuesday: 28 to 32 degrees Celsius. Locations: southeastern Labrador. Remarks: The hottest temperatures are expected inland. Temperatures are forecast to turn cooler over all areas on Tuesday night. Extreme heat can affect everyone?s health. Reduce your heat risk. Schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day. Limit direct sun exposure. Shade yourself by wearing a wide-brimmed, breathable hat and/or an umbrella. Never leave people, particularly children, or pets inside a parked vehicle. Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
