Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Detailed Description Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. When: this afternoon and this evening. Main threats: - Strong wind gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour - Very heavy rain - Hail with a diameter of almost 1 centimetre Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts on bodies of water. ### Local utility outages are possible. Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
