Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following river and locations in Indiana. White River at Anderson, Noblesville, below Eagle Valley Power Plant, near Centerton, at Newberry, Spencer, Edwardsport, Elliston, Hazleton, and Petersburg. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following river and locations in Indiana. White River near Nora and at Ravenswood. .Major flooding is occurring along the White River from Spencer on downstream due to multiple rounds of heavy rainfall that brought around 5 to 9 inches to the area. The crest on the lower White was approaching Elliston Monday evening and forecast to reach Petersburg Friday morning. night and Petersburg on Friday. Minor to moderate flooding continues on the upper and middle White, with the crest approaching Noblesville Monday morning and forecast to be downstream of the Indianapolis area gauges by Tuesday morning. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant. * WHEN. Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 607.0 feet, Extensive flooding of agricultural lands. Blue Bluff and Paragon Roads are impassable. Flood waters affect a few homes in Waverly. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - There is no current observed data. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 603.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
