| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas. Big Sandy Creek Near Bridgeport affecting Wise County. West Fork Trinity River Near Jacksboro affecting Jack County. Denton Creek Near Justin affecting Denton County. West Fork Trinity River Near Boyd affecting Wise County. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas. East Fork Trinity River At McKinney affecting Collin County. Sister Grove Creek Near Blue Ridge affecting Collin County. Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County. Trinity River At Dallas affecting Dallas County. Trinity River At Trinidad affecting Henderson and Navarro Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Big Sandy Creek near Bridgeport. * WHEN. Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, Moderate flooding is expected along the creek. Farm and ranch lands near the creek will be flooded, along with some rural roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. |
