| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and major river flooding is occurring. * WHERE. A portion of East Arkansas, including the following county, Clay. * WHEN. Until 200 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous county roads across the county remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 201 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Piggott, Corning, Rector, Chalk Bluff Natural Area, Knobel, St. Francis, Pollard, Greenway, McDougal, Success, Peach Orchard, Datto, Saint Francis, Crockett, Nimmons, Hickoria, Tipperary, Knob, Pratt and Heubner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
