Brief Description Snow Squall Warning
Detailed Description Lake effect snow squalls continue. What: Lake effect snow today with local accumulations of 5 to 10 cm. Additional local accumulations of 15 to 25 cm tonight and Thursday. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Today through Thursday. Additional information: Moderate lake effect snow will continue today. More intense lake effect snow is expected tonight and Thursday. In addition, southwesterly winds gusting up to 60 km/h will result in blowing snow, especially over exposed areas. ### Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible.
