South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. .The convective rainfall over the last few days has swelled river levels to the point where a couple of forecast points are expected to reach minor flood stage within the next few days. With more convective rainfall on the way throughout the week, we may see a few more forecast points entering minor flood stage over the next several days. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Minnesota River at Morton. * WHEN. From late tonight to late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in North Redwood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 800 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 20.7 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 21.5 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.
