| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana. Kentucky. Illinois. Ohio River at Owensboro. Newburgh Dam. Evansville. Henderson. Mount Vernon. JT Myers Dam. Shawneetown. and Golconda. .Moderate to major flooding remains forecast along the Ohio River from Owensboro downstream to Golconda. Water levels continue to rise, with crests expected this weekend into early next week. For the Ohio River. including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville, Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda. Moderate to Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Ohio River at Mount Vernon. * WHEN. Until Sunday, April 20. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 47.3 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 48.6 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday, April 20. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood History.
