Brief Description Hazardous Seas Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 14 to 18 ft at 14 seconds. For the Gale Warning, southwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 14 to 19 ft at 14 seconds expected. * WHERE..Winds and seas increase all areas between Florence and Pt. St. George through this evening. While Gales can be expected anywhere, the strongest winds will be from Brookings to Cape Blanco out 10 miles. Meanwhile, the tallest and steepest seas will be from Gold Beach northward out to 30 nm. * WHEN. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 2 AM PDT Friday. For the Gale Warning, from 2 AM to 2 PM PDT Friday. * IMPACTS. Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or damage vessels.
