Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 3:29 PM MST Friday 30 August 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Dempster Wet snow expected. Where: Dempster Highway When: Now through tonight. Impacts: Reduced visibilities and slippery surfaces Remarks: A cold front is currently over northern Yukon bringing cooler air and wet snow mixed with rain. An additional 2 cm of snow is possible by tonight. The wet snow is expected to ease overnight. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
