Detailed Description 10:50 AM ADT Saturday 7 September 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Antigonish County Significant rainfall continues. Total rainfall: 30 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts possible. Maximum wind gusts: southeasterly 60 to 80 km/h. Locations: central and eastern Nova Scotia. Time span: continuing today and into tonight. Similar storms in the past: - hazardous driving conditions - delays and cancellations of ferry services - local utility outages Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
