Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by upstream dam release continues. * WHERE. A portion of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Knox and Sevier. * WHEN. Until 730 PM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 924 PM EDT, an upstream floodgate release is expected to continue to cause flooding and evacuations will continue as deemed necessary by local emergency personnel in low-lying communities and neighborhoods along the French Broad River. If you live in a low-lying area near the river and feel your residence may be threatened, please self-evacuate. Continue to follow guidance from local law enforcement, fire/rescue agencies, and emergency management staff. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
